LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf leader, Javaid Hashmi Saturday said that it was time the nation saved Pakistan following the lead of Imran Khan, Geo News reported.
“Imran Khan’s charisma inspired many serious as well as sincere politicians jump in the arena for the sake of country”, said the PTI President addressing thousands of supporters at Minar-e-Pakistan here.
According o media reports Imran Khan, who rallied around 100,000 ardent workers/sympathizers, is shaping up to be the biggest wildcard in the May 11 parliamentary election — the first transition between democratically elected governments in a country that has experienced three military coups.
Urging the people to pledge support for Imran Khan to salvage Pakistan, Hashmi said he would have given up on politics had it not been for the youth, who with their unwavering faith in tomorrow’s changemaker, Khan, inspired me back into the politics.
The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf president said March 23 rally will continue to wow generations after generations for centuries.
“This is a historic rally and would be remembered for a long time to come”, he said
